Agave question

Postby mykoi » Sun Mar 14, 2010 2:54 pm

I planted this agave last year. While cleaning the yard this pm, noticed it's not looking too hot. Is this normal for agave coming out of winter or is it on it's last legs?

This agave has bit the dust Rob. Frost got it. Not hardy here in zone 7B. Some are, most aren't. Check our www.plantdelights.com for a wide range of agave offerings that are hardy in our area. I have 4-5 in the yard for 10 yrs now. Two have bloomed with 10' stalks!

Had a feeling. Was lead to believe this one was hardy through Zone 7.
